The following results have been compiled from a recent survey on Media and Human Rights that was distributed among journalists worldwide.

65% of the journalists interviewed claim to have a sound understanding of human rights principles - the same percentage proved to have an incorrect knowledge of what is human rights abuse and who is a perpetrator.
 
60% of journalists interviewed state they have limited access to Geneva based human rights organizations and relevant information.
